Whidbey Island Real Estate and Homes For Sale
Welcome to Whidbey Island and the wonders of island living. The only connection to the mainland is the Deception bridge to the left which crosses at the northern part of Whidbey Island. From this point it's only a short ten miles into Oak Harbor, which is Whidbey Islands largest city and home to Whidbey Air force base.

Whidbey Island WA Towns
If you were a traveler to Whidbey Island and started in the north part of the island, you would first be crossing the bridge at beautiful Deception Pass. After traveling through the Deception State Park area you would first pass Whidbey Air Force Base before coming into Whidbey Islands largest city of Oak Harbor.
Past Oak Harbor you'll find the towns of Coupeville, Freeland, Langley and Clinton, WA. There is also an area called Greenbank which is a great spot to visit as well. Salmon fishing from the beaches along Bush Point, Lagoon Point and Fort Casey are very popular along the Western shores of Whidbey Island.
My mother & father in-law lived in the Freeland, WA area and they both really loved living there. Jack Hill (my father in law) was a career navy man and he always felt at home on Whidbey Island, being so close to the water and The Whidbey Naval Base. Jack Hill was an American Hero and is missed by all that he touched in his life with his love & spirit for all things in this life.
