Sudden Valley WA Real Estate
Sudden Valley is a community five miles east of the City of Bellingham, and is home to about 4500 people. Sudden Valley was originally platted during the 1970's and has gone through several building spurts over the last thirty years. There is a wide mix of housing options for home buyers to look at in the Sudden Valley real estate market today.
The Sudden Valley community includes the Sudden Valley Golf Club, an 18 hole golf course, which is the centerpiece to this private community next to Lake Whatcom. The Sudden Valley Golf course is rated "four stars" by Golf Digest, and has been host to many local and state golf tournaments.
Sudden Valley also includes the largest swimming pool in Whatcom County, soccer fields and baseball diamonds, recreation facility's, tennis courts, AM/Pm Beach, Marina Beach Park, and many other activities one can enjoy in the Sudden Valley community.
The Sudden Valley area also has a small convenience store within it's community, as 
well as a small Italian restaurant, post office, and an assortment of small shops all in a strip mall type of setup. Bob's Burger & Brew Restaurant is located at the golf course as well. Most major shopping is done in near-by Bellingham, where Sudden Valley residents can get most all shopping conveniences completed.
The Sudden Valley real estate market offers quite an assortment of housing options to home buyers. Sudden Valley homes for sale range from homes in the Gate 3 area of $200,000 to $400,000 range. Most of the homes in Gate 3 are stick built single family homes. There are a quite a few building lots still available here as well. Gate 1 is near the golf course and Lake Whatcom and homes in this area tend to be a little more pricier to potential home buyers. There is still some great opportunities today to purchase homes at a very reasonable price compared to the same square footage of homes in nearby Bellingham.
