Semiahmoo Resort
Semiahmoo opened its doors in 1987 as Washington's largest full-service destination resort. Semiahmoo's Resort area offers a luxurious spa, hot tub, sauna, and a steam room. The resort is also home to the number one and number three rated golf courses in Washington state: Loomis Trail Golf Club and Semiahmoo Golf Country Club!
Semiahmoo is located at the tip of a mile-long natural spit, which forms the entrance to Drayton Harbor and framed by Semiahmoo Bay at Blaine, Washington. The resort is within view of Peace Arch Park at the U.S./Canadian border and is less than an hour drive from Vancouver, British Columbia. The two hour drive from Seattle, whether you choose the direct route along I-5 or the more leisurely option on world-famous Chuckanut Drive, will reward you with one of the most scenic stretches of highway in the Pacific Northwest. With gorgeous views on every side.
Located at the end of a long sand spit guarding Drayton Harbor, Semiahmoo Resort is Washington's largest destination resort. The Inn at Semiahmoo is a part of this massive 800-acre development with facilities such as a 300-slip marina, athletic club, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, racquetball and tennis courts, steam room, 18-hole championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer, restaurants, lounges and plenty of Puget Sound beachfront. The old buildings from the Alaska Packers Association cannery - in business till 1965 - have been restored and developed into a large conference center. The M.V. Plover was built in 1944 as a ferry for cannery workers at Semiahmoo; today the 32-foot boat has been lovingly restored and serves as a passenger and bike ferry. It operates between the harbor at Blaine and the Inn at Semiahmoo summers only.
