Cedar and Fir trees. Recently the dept of Transportation just finished a brand new bridge that really helped improve the road system. Just before you get to the turn off to Glen Haven Lakes is the Wildwood Resort. Wildwood Resort offers cabins, full-service RV sites, and unserviced camping and tent sites nestled on 15 acres along the shores of Lake Whatcom.
If you kept along Lake Whatcom's shore line heading south east you'll eventually come to the end of the lake near Blue Canyon. Travelors could then take the three mile Park Rd to connect up to Hwy 9. You can take Hwy 9 either north through the Acme Valley and eventually Mt. Baker Hwy, or take it south through Sedro Woolley and areas south.
