Laconner WA - Things To Do

Laconner is probably best known for the Tulip Festival thats held every year during the entire month of April. If you have ever visited this area of Skagit Valley during the spring it's hard to not see a field full of color and tulips from all spectrums of the rainbow. Find out all about the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival at their web site. In the past It's always been difficult to get to the area because Hwy 20 was a one lane road going both ways. Hwy 20 is currently being upgraded with two lanes in both directions and this should definelty cut down on the traffic jams tulip festival vistitors experience.

During the month of October Skagit Valley has a pretty nice harvest festival where visitors can tour about 15-20 farms through-out the valley. It's usually the first weekend in October every year.  Visit the Tulip Festivals web site for things to do at the following Skagit County events page.
